The Wild North and IFAW join hands

The Wild North project and IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare have joined hands in raising awareness on the importance of sustainable development of wildlife tourism in Iceland. The cooperation, which has been named Three pearls, has the main objective of increasing understanding and knowledge about wild mammals (whales, seals and foxes) in Iceland and how tourism can benefit from wildlife as a resource in a sustainable way. The project's partners will work on education both locals and tourists.
