The Wild North will host a partner meeting and a seminar in the Faroe Islands from the 6th - 8th of October. The seminar's which is titled Handle with care and is the first of a 3 seminar series hosted by the project. Participants on  both events are around 40 from 5 countries, but the event is organized by The Icelandic Seal Centre. The centre's representatives at the meeting will be biologist Sandra M. Granquist and manager Hrafnhildur Ýr Víglundsdóttir (also project manager for TWN). The event is sponsored by the Northwest Iceland Growth Contract, NORA (North Atlantic Cooperation) and NATA (North Atlantic Tourism Association).
