Summer jobs: Early this year we put out and ad for two research internships in connection with The Wild North project this summer. We had great response and over 300 people applied. Sandra has now chosen 2 af the applicants to come and work for us this summer and we are very excited to meet them. I´ve also had quite a few applications for other summer jobs which I´m sorting out now. It´s great to see how many are interested in our work.

Changes: Benjamín our carpenter has started changing our reception and making ready for our new exhibitions which we will open at the beginning of June.

Art exhibitions: Four artists have booked exhibitions at the center this summer and they are: Anna Gunnarsdóttir textile artists www.annagunnars.is, Edda Lilja Guðmundsdóttir textile artist www.snigla.com, Guðlaug Friðriksdóttir painter and bookbinder and Ingibjörg Sigurðardóttir painter.
