Seal Research

The objective of our seal research department is to conduct comprehensive research on seals in Iceland. Our main research area is the Vatnsnes Peninsula and inner Húnaflói Bay area, where a large number of harbour seals can be found in a relativele small area.

The seal research department  has two employees working on combined and individual projects as well as visiting students and professors.
